Uchiki is a traditional court robe worn by aristocratic women in Japan during the Heian period. It was worn as part of layered court dress and is one of the characteristic garments seen in women’s Heian-period costume.
This Uchiki can be worn as part of an Uchiki-Hakama ensemble, layered court costume, or used for historical display and photography.
